Screw Press / Sludge Dewatering Machine
The Screw Press is a machine used to reduce the water content in sludge from wastewater treatment processes.
It works by compressing sludge through a screw system, allowing water to be separated and discharged while leaving drier sludge behind. This reduces sludge volume, making it easier and more economical to dispose of.
Unlike clean water filtration systems, the Screw Press focuses on the final stage of wastewater treatment (sludge handling). It serves as an alternative to conventional Belt Filter Press or Filter Press systems.
Features & Advantages
High efficiency in reducing sludge moisture content
Continuous, automatic, and energy-saving operation
Compact stainless steel design → corrosion resistant
More practical and user-friendly compared to Belt Press
