Underdrain System (Distributor & Laterals)

The Filter Tank Internal Components are essential parts of FRP or steel filter tanks, ensuring proper water distribution and preventing filter media leakage.

• Laterals (yellow, 6-arm fan shape) → Installed at the bottom of tanks; distribute water evenly and prevent media (sand, carbon, resin) from flushing out.

• Strainer (yellow & white, cylindrical with fine slots) → Mounted on distributor pipes; retain filter media particles to ensure only treated water passes through.

• Nozzle / Hub (black central part) → The central connection point for laterals; channels inlet and outlet water while maintaining uniform distribution.
